Size:  Breed Standard is 1 lb to 2 1/2 lbs, with short ears, a bright and bold eye, and a round head.

Temperament:  Netherlands are spritely little darlings, with a perky personality that is also very affectionate.

History:  Netherland Dwarfs were created in the early 1900s in the Netherlands. The first show standard in Holland dates from 1940. Netherland Dwarfs came to Britain in the 1940s and were exported to America iin the 1960s. Today Netherland Dwarfs are one of the most popular rabbit breeds in the world.
