George Workshop Rabbitry

Summer's here! Is your bunny keeping cool?

Keep your rabbit in the shade or indoors, with lots of air flow or a fan.  On the hottest days, give Bunny a frozen gallon milk jug of water to stay comfortable.  For more heat information, check the Bunny Guide.

George Workshop provides quality rabbits for show rabbits, breeding, pet bunnies, and 4H / FFA projects.  We are Central Texas rabbit breeders, located in Wimberley, 10 miles south of Dripping Springs, 30 minutes from Austin, 30 minutes from San Marcos, and one hour from San Antonio.  We are 3 1/2 hours from the Houston area, and 3 1/2 hours from Dallas / Ft. Worth area.  We are 9 hours from El Paso, and 7 hours from Lubbock.

We specialize in Holland Lops and Netherland Dwarf rabbits.  Dwarf and Mini rabbits are great for children and homes with less space.   Lop rabbits make great rabbits for pets. Take a look at our photo gallery or breed pages for rabbit pictures (link near the bottom of this page) to get a better idea of what bunny breeds you may like.

New rabbit litter information is listed on each breed page.  If you are looking for another breed and need assistance, check out our Resources page for links to rabbits for sale by other breeders around the country, as well as informative bunny websites.

Check out our sister website at www.fallenoakranch.com for registered Fainting Goats, meat goats, fresh eggs and cage-free chickens, pasture raised pigs, and naturally raised beef cattle.  We also have seasonal produce.  Read about us in Country World News.

We are the George Family: Doug, Jordana, Jeffrey and Tommy.  We have raised rabbits since 2003.  Our rabbit breeding program focuses on type, conformation, and temperament, and we pride ourselves on raising quality show rabbits and wonderful family pet rabbits. Also, because our rabbits are Texas raised bunnies, they are hardier and healthier than pet store stock trucked in from out of state wholesale rabbitries.
